Acceptance of order
The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our site does not constitute acceptance of an order.
Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct with your order. We will attempt to contact you regarding delivery before we send your goods, a contact telephone number at the delivery address and a mobile phone number is helpful.
Contemporary Elements Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result of the following:
1. You provide us with an incorrect delivery address and another party signs for your goods.
2. Goods are arranged to be left on/near your premises and are subsequently stolen.
3. Goods left with a third party are stolen.
If the delivery address refuses delivery of the goods or if you do not respond to the “sorry we missed you” card left by the driver, your order will be returned to Contemporary Elements Ltd where we will wait for you to contact us regarding the status of your order.
If you receive damaged goods from us then please Contact us within 48 hourss of receiving the delivery. We require good quality e-mailed photographic evidence of the damages. This should be sent to email@example.com. Any damaged goods will be replaced or refunded free of charge.
Contemporary Elements Ltd provide a 7 day returns policy. To return a fireplace you must Contact us within 7 days of delivery to provide details of your return and we will arrange for a collection. Once the product has been returned to us in an unused condition and in the original packaging we will issue a refund. If the fireplace has been used we will not issue a refund. Original delivery costs are not refundable. Return delivery costs are not refundable.
We do not accept returns on bioethanol fuel.
If your fireplace is considered by us as a 'Special Order' it cannot be returned. You will be informed of 'special orders' when we contact you regarding delivery before these items are sent. Fireplaces made to order are considered 'Special Orders'.
Note: Items returned because you 'don't like them', for instance, are returned at your cost to the return address specified by Contemporary Elements Ltd.
Fireplaces are accompanied by a full 12/24 month guarantee and is available only to the original purchaser when accompanied by the original receipt. The guarantee is non transferable. The guarantee applies to the product only and does not cover any consequential losses – i.e. time or other products.
This guarantee applies to material and manufacturing defects only under normal domestic use with the EU.
The guarantee does not cover faults caused by factors outside of the manufacturers control, including failure to follow the user guide and maintenance instructions, normal wear and tear, inappropriate use, inappropriate storage, accidental or wilful misuse of the product, or inappropriate cleaning, modification, alteration or transformation of the product.
Any repair work will be approved and undertaken by Contemporary Elements Ltd or partner companies.
